The islands of the lagoon

Isole della LagunaThe islands form a unique heritage in the Venice lagoon, they are so beautiful and important that the Istituzione Parco della Laguna  (www.parcolagunavenezia.it) was created, the aim of which is to preserve and protect the surroundings of the northern lagoon of Venice (see the lagoon with Google Maps).

The island tours can be combined according to your likes and your preferences depending on what you prefer to see, and they can last either a half day or the entire day. The excursions can be done using either local public transport or private boats.
